ANONYMITY IS MY SPIRITUAL FOUNDATION GOD IS MY FOCUS

Anonymity is my spiritual foundation: God’s word, God’s will, God’s way, God’s Glory.  Not my will, not my way, not my word, not my Glory. 

I am a vessel of God’s love.  The bible is the book of God’s love.  God has filled me with his love.  God’s words for me are God’s love for me.  God’s words to me are God’s love to me.  God has a plan to have a personal relationship with every one God gives life.  I have been called to share God’s plan for me with all who will receive it.  God’s plan is that we all be conform to the likeness of GOD'S  Son, Jesus Christ.  That I might be the first born among many brothers." My Personal Pathway to God"  is the plan I receive from God through his word.  The first 17 post are my prayers from the scriptures as titled.  I said these prayers for years before I ever wrote them down.  They were wrote on the tablet of my heart.  I didn’t know then that these prayers contain promises to me and are the substance of my faith.(Rom. 10:17) “faith come from hearing the message, and the message is heard to the word of Christ”.  I didn’t know that faith is a law of the New covenant.  I receive faith training through the tapes I received from Charles Capp’s ministries.  The next  post are scriptures that support the promises in my prayers.  The other posts are self-explanatory.  This blog represents my Spiritual House with the post being rooms in the house. “Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for he who loves his fellow man has fulfilled the law”.(Rom. 13:8) God’s word is love, so when I pray God’s love for all people, all places, and all things I have fulfilled God’s law and I have peace with God.  To grow in the strength of God you must exercise in the power of God, which is the word of God.        AMEN! 

 

"RECOGNIZING MY ENEMY, SATAN AND UNDERSTANDING HOW HE OPERATES."

Two myths about Satan:
Satan cannot go where he wants to, God is in control.  Can Satan make your life a living hell if he wants to?  No God is in control.  Satan is not beastly, but beautiful.  Satan is a angel -an incorporeal being.  Satan is not all powerful, Satan is limited by God to what he can and cannot do.  Satan must ask God's permission before he can do anything!  God determines whether Satan's request will be granted. "This is why Martin Luther is alleged to have said, the devil is God's devil".  Make no mistake : Satan is evil, he is powerful , he seeks to do us great harm .
 Satan is a powerful being who is scheming to outwit humans , he is a spiritual force of evil
 That prowls around like a roaring lion , seeking someone to devour.  In light of this we should do our best to know just who this enemy is.  The Biblical Satan has a  much more ambitious goal than doing us bodily harm.  Satan is pouring all his energy into one grand out come: the cursing of God.  That's his end game.  He makes this clear in Job 1: 11.  If Satan can lure us into a place where we curse God, then he has won.  The Apostle Paul summarizes Satan's aim as" keeping us from seeing the light of the gospel of the Glory of Christ, who is the image of God" ( 2 COR.4:4).  In its context, this verse is describing Satan's work among unbelievers, but it is certainly a safe application to say he does not want Christians to think glorious thoughts of Christ.  Satan is working with all his might to block our view of God's awesome beauty and Glory, his righteousness and justice.  Satan roars like a lion, to drown out our praise and adoration of God.  It would be bad enough if Satan accomplished this vial   mission of getting us to rob God of Glory.  But the devil does not stop with inflicting that spiritual harm.  His supreme delight appears to be rubbing our face in the very mess he helped to create!  In fact, the word devil means "THE ACCUSER".  When the bible shines god's searchlight on Satan, we find him in the courtroom.  Three piece suit with black leather briefcase takes his place before the judge's bench and calmly points at the defendant (yes, that's you and me).  In his hand is a legal pad with line after line of our infractions against god neatly spelled out.  And Satan skillfully makes his case.  After all, he has been studying human behavior for millennia, and he has no trouble furnishing ample evidence of our guilt before god.  Sounds too contrived, take a look at Zechariah 3:1.  The devil delights in adding insult to injury.  And oh, how all those accusations sting!  Satan is like the terminator, he can't be bargained with, he can't be reasoned with. He is pitiless and always laser focused on his two fold mission: 1) to lure us into a place where we turn against God, and then 2) to accuse us of our guilt for the very rebellion he's help engineer. For the Christian, no enemy could be more serious. How can we frail humans stand up against such an adversary? In the sobering words of writer R. Kent Hughes: "Satan has had multiple millennia to study and master the human disciplines, and when it comes to human subversion, Satan is the ultimate manipulator." No mere human is a match for such an opponent. that realization can lead us to despair- or, it can lead us to the place it lead Martin Luther when he penned his most famous hymn "A Mighty Fortress": for still our ancient foe doth seek to work us woe; his craft and power are great; and armed with cruel hate; on earth is not his equal, did we in our own strength confide, our striving would be losing, were not the right man on our side, the man of GOD'S own choosing. God choose Me and that is why the Devil hates Me. In the ongoing battle between GOOD and EVIL, when does GOOD WIN and the Devil gets his payback. You would think at the end of the story and there is a payback moment found there. "And the Devil who had deceived them was thrown into the LAKE OF FIRE AND SULFER...tormented day and night for ever and ever". (Rev. 20:10) What a fitting end for the great adversary of God. The serpent that slithered through human history for one grand purpose-to keep people out of God's presence- finally will be contained in an inescapable prison forever. Never again will he tempt, afflict, or accuse God's people. Satan will be carried out to the eternal landfill and dumped their. In light of this "END OF THE STORY", would it surprise you, then, that Jesus says the Devil's true payback moment came thousands of years earlier? Does Satan actually run the world? In John's gospel, Satan is called "the ruler of this world".(John 12:31) While it is true that "the whole world lies in the power of the evil one"(1John 5:19), the phrase "the whole world" has a unique meaning here. John tells us that all that in the world- "the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life [in possession]- is not from the Father but is from the world."(1John 2:16) Thus, pride, evil desires and base lusts compose the world over which the Devil presides. That is why in the verse just before this description we are commanded, "DO NOT LOVE THE WORLD".(1JOHN 2:15) The world that Satan runs is not a reference to PLANTS, PEOPLE, or PLACES. "Viewed as a PEOPLE, the world must be LOVED", writes John Stott. "Viewed as an EVIL system, organized under the dominion of Satan not of God, this world is not to be LOVED." THERE IS A KIND OF  ENVIRONMENT THAT EXIST IN THE WORLD THAT IS SIMILAR TO AIR. WE LIVE AND BREATH IN A THOROUGHLY ANTI-GOD ATMOSPHERE THAT SATAN ENJOYS MANAGING. How did God's wicked adversary come into such a position of power? Isaiah offers an answer to this question, shedding light on how the world Satan rules came into being. "The earth lies defiled under it's inhabitants; for they have transgressed the laws, violated the statutes, broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore a curse devours the earth, and it's inhabitants suffer for their GUILT'. (Isa.24:5-6) BECAUSE MANKIND HAS BLATANTLY DEFIED GOD'S LAW, GOD HIMSELF ORDAINED THAT "THE CREATION WAS SUBJECTED TO FUTILITY."(ROM.8:20) IN OTHER WORDS, THE EVIL WORLD WE INHABIT IS A WORLD OF OUR OWN MAKING, AND GOD IS ALLOWING SATAN TO RULE IT FOR A TEMPORARY PEROID. THIS IS A PROFOUND TRUTH AND IT IS CRUCIAL THAT WE UNDERSTAND IT: ANY POWER THE DEVIL HAS IS ONLY BECAUSE GOD GIVES IT TO HIM FOR A SEASON. ONE DAY SATAN'S POWER WILL BE TAKEN AWAY. The HOUR has come, millennia before the day Satan's final payback is carried out, whenever that day will be (WHICH ONLY GOD KNOWS), Jesus made a cosmic announcement: SATAN IS ALREADY FINISHED "NOW IS THE JUDGEMENT OF THIS WORLD, NOW WILL THE RULER OF THIS WORLD BE CAST OUT".(JOHN 12:31) The Greek word translated "NOW" occurring twice in John 12:31 is vuv, and is a word used to indicate THE PRESENT MOMENT. Jesus speaks of Satan's expulsion from power as something just about to happen, so Jesus could not have been speaking about the Devils plunge into the LAKE OF FIRE. The SAVIOR saw something happening in his own ministry that would, in effect, SEAL THE EVILONE'S DOOM. Jesus knew the difficulty he would face at his trial and CRUCIFIXION, and despite a desire to avoid it, Jesus endured it knowing that it was "THE PLAN" for the REDEMPTION OF HUMANITY.(Luke 22:42) A PLAN THE TRIUNE GOD MADE FROM ETERNITY PAST. THE CROSS WAS THE KEY TO "THE RULER OF THIS WORLD BEING CAST OUT". Jesus saw his death looming large in the hours before him, and while it would be VICIOUS IN IT'S BRUTALITY,JESUS COULD SEE THROUGH TO THE VICTORY. IT WOULD BE JESUS HOUR THAT FINALLY BROUGHT SATAN'S HOUR TO AN END. The APOSTLE PAUL makes this point clear when he says that, " JESUS DISARMED THE RULERS AND AUTHORITIES AND PUT THEM TO OPEN SHAME, BY TRIUMPHING OVER THEM."(Col. 2:15) THE "RULERS AND AUTHORITIES" are those DEMONIC FORCES that get their PAYBACK AT THE CROSS. THE LORD JESUS CHRIST HAS DONE EVERTHING FOR HIS PEOPLE, FOUGHT THEIR BATTLE, WON THEIR VICTORY, AND, ON THEIR BEHALF, CELEBRATED THE TRIUMPH IN THE STREETS OF HEAVEN, "LEADING CAPTIVITY CAPTIVE." We await Satan' condemnation not only for our freedom from Satan attacks, but because Satan's destruction coincides with the ESTABLISHMENT OF THE ETERNAL KINGDOM OF GOD WITH HUMANITY. Many see the CROSS as a temporary setback and the RESURRECTION as the delayed victory. THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THE RESURRECTION IS THAT IT CONFIRMS THE SOUL-SAVING, SATAN CRUSHING WORK OF THE CROSS. John Stott says it concisely: "THE CROSS WAS THE VICTORY WON, AND THE RESURRECTION THE VICTORY ENDORSED, PROCLAIMED AND DEMONSTRATED. MY FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST'S VICTORY SHEILDS ME FROM THE DEVIL'S ACTIVITIES. AS I DRAW CLOSER TO GOD THRU THE WORD  OF CHRIST THE DEVIL MUST FLEE FROM ME.(James 4:8) GOD HAS GRANTED ME REPENTANCE THRU THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH, I HAVE COME TO MY SENSES AND I HAVE ESCAPE FROM THE TRAP OF THE DEVIL, WHO HAD TAKEN ME CAPTIVE TO DO HIS WILL.(2Tim.2:25-26)

YOU, HAVE BEEN CALLED BY GOD. ROM. 8:28-39, 1 COR. 1:21b-31,7:15-17 GAL. 5:13-26, EPH. 1:17-19A - 4:1-6, 2 TIM.1:8-10, 1 PET.1:13-16 -5:6-11, 2 PET. 1:1-11

ROM. 8:28-39

And WE know that in ALL THINGS God WORKS for the GOOD of THOSE who LOVE him, who have been CALLED according to GODS PURPOSE. For THOSE GOD FOREKNEW, GOD also PREDESTINED to be CONFORMED to the LIKENESS of GOD'S SON, that he  might be the FIRSTBORN among many BROTHERS. And THOSE GOD PREDESTINE, GOD also CALLED; THOSE GOD CALLED, GOD also JUSTIFIED, THOSE GOD JUSTIFIED, GOD also GLORIFIED.

What, then, shall WE say in RESPONSE to this? If GOD is for US, who can be AGAINST US? GOD who did not SPARE HIS own SON, but GAVE CHRIST up for US all - how will GOD not also, along with CHRIST, GRACIOUSLY GIVE US ALL THINGS? Who will bring any CHARGE AGAINST THOSE WHOM GOD HAS CHOOSEN? It is GOD who JUSTIFIES. Who is HE that CONDEMS? CHRIST JESUS, who DIED - more than that, who was RAISED to LIFE - is at the RIGHT HAND of GOD and is also INTERCEDING for US. Who shall SEPERATE US from the LOVE of CHRIST? Shall TROUBLE or HARDSHIP or PERSECUTION or FAMINE or NAKEDNESS or DANGER or SWORD? As it is WRITTEN: For your sake WE FACE DEATH all day long; WE are CONSIDERED as SHEEP to be SLAUGHTERED.

No, in all THESE THINGS WE are more than CONQUERORS through GOD who LOVED US. For I am CONVINCED that NEITHER DEATH NOR LIFE, NEITHER ANGELS NOR DEMONS, NEITHER the PRESENT NOR the FUTURE, NOR any POWERS, NEITHER HEIGHT NOR DEPTH, NOR ANYTHING ELSE IN ALL CREATION, WILL BE ABLE TO SEPERATE US FROM THE LOVE OF GOD THAT IS IN CHRIST JESUS OUR LORD.

THE MESSAGE: Because I LOVE GOD, GOD'S PURPOSE for ME is That I be CONFORMED to the LIKENESS of GOD'S SON, THAT I MIGHT be the FIRSTBORN among many BROTHERS. BECAUSE GOD CALLED ME, I HAVE CONFIDENCE IN GOD THAT NOTHING
CAN SEPERATE ME FROM GOD'S LOVE THAT IS IN CHRIST JESUS. AMEN!


1 COR. 1:21b-31

 For since in the WISDOM of God the WORLD through its WISDOM did not know GOD, God was pleased through the FOOLISHNESS of what was PREACHED to SAVE THOSE WHO BELIEVE. Jews demand signs and Greeks look for WISDOM, but we PREACH CHRIST CRUCIFIED: A STUMBLING BLOCK TO JEWS AND FOOLISHNESS TO GENTILES, but to those whom God has CALLED, both Jews and Greeks, CHRIST THE POWER OF GOD and the WISDOM OF GOD. For the FOOLISHNESS of God is WISER than HUMAN WISDOM, and the WEAKNESS of God IS STRONGER than HUMAN STRENGTH.  BROTHERS and SISTERS, THINK of WHAT YOU WERE WHEN YOU WERE CALLED. Not many of YOU WERE WISE by HUMAN STANDARDS; not many were INFLUENTIAL; not many were of NOBLE BIRTH. But GOD CHOSE the FOOLISH THINGS of the WORLD to SHAME the WISE; GOD CHOSE the WEAK THINGS of the WORLD to SHAME the STRONG. GOD CHOSE the LOWLY things of THIS WORLD and the DESPISED THINGS—and THE THINGS THAT ARE NOT—TO NULLIFY THE THINGS THAT ARE, SO THAT NO ONE MAY BOAST BEFORE HIM. IT IS BECAUSE OF GOD THAT YOU ARE IN CHRIST JESUS, WHO HAS BECOME FOR US WISDOM FROM GOD—that is, our RIGHTEOUSNESS, HOLINESS and REDEMPTION. THEREFORE, AS IT IS WRITTEN: “LET THE ONE WHO BOASTS BOAST IN THE LORD.

THE MESSAGE:    THE WORLD THROUGH its WISDOM did not know GOD, GOD was PLEASED THROUGH the FOOLISHNESS of what was PREACH to SAVE THOSE WHO BELIEVED. I WAS CALLED TO PREACH CHRIST CRUCIFIED, CHRIST THE POWER OF GOD and THE WISDOM OF GOD. I AM not WISE, or INFLUENTIAL, or of NOBLE BIRTH. GOD CHOSE TO NULLIFY THE THINGS THAT ARE, WITH THE THINGS THAT ARE NOT. I PRAY THE THINGS I DESIRE TO REPLACE THE THINGS THAT ARE. SO I HAVE NO BOAST BEFORE GOD. IT IS BEACUSE OF GOD THAT I AM IN CHRIST JESUS, WHO IS MY WISDOM FROM GOD--MY RIGHTEOUSNESS, HOLINESS and REDEMPTION. SO I BOAST IN THE LORD. AMEN! 

1 COR. 7:15-17

IF THE UNBELIEVER LEAVES, LET HIM DO SO. A BELIEVING MAN or WOMAN is not BOUND IN SUCH CIRCUMSTANCES; GOD HAS CALLED US TO LIVE IN PEACE. HOW DO YOU KNOW WIFE, WHETHER YOU WILL SAVE YOUR HUSBAND? OR, HOW YOU KNOW, HUSBAND WHETHER YOU WILL SAVE YOUR WIFE?
NEVERTHELESS, EACH ONE SHOULD RETAIN THE PLACE IN LIFE THAT THE LORD ASSIGNED TO HIM AND TO WHICH GOD HAS CALLED HIM. THIS IS THE RULE I LAY DOWN IN ALL THE CHURCHES.

THE MESSAGE: GOD HAS CALLED ME TO LIVE IN PEACE WITH MY SPOUSE. I CAN'T SAVE HER and SHE CAN'T SAVE ME. NEVERTHELESS WE SHOULD RETAIN THE PLACE IN LIFE THAT THE LORD HAS ASSIGNED US and TO WHICH GOD HAS CALLED US. THIS IS THE RULE PAUL LAYED DOWN IN ALL THE CHURCHES. AMEN!

GAL .5:13-26

YOU, MY BROTHERS, WERE CALLED TO BE FREE. BUT DO NOT USE YOUR FREEDOM TO INDULGE THE SINFUL NATURE; RATHER SERVE ONE ANOTHER IN LOVE. THE ENTIRE LAW IS SUMMED UP IN A SINGLE COMMAND: LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF. IF YOU KEEP ON BITING and DEVOURING EACH OTHER; WATCH OUT OR YOU WILL BE DESTROYED BY EACH OTHER. SO I SAY, LIVE BY THE SPIRIT, and YOU WILL NOT GRATIFY the DESIRES of SINFUL NATURE. For the SINFUL NATURE DESIRES WHAT IS CONTRARY to THE SPIRIT, and THE SPIRIT WHAT IS CONTRARY to THE SINFUL NATURE. THEY ARE IN CONFLICT WITH EACH OTHER, SO THAT YOU DO NOT DO WHAT YOU WANT. BUT IF YOU ARE LED BY THE SPIRIT, YOU ARE NOT UNDER LAW. THE ACTS OF THE SINFUL NATURE ARE OBVIOUS: SEXUAL IMMORALITY, IMPURITY and DEBAUCHERY; IDOLATRY and WITCHCRAFT; HATRED, DISCORD, JEALOUSY, FITS OF RAGE, SELFISH AMBITION, DISSENSIONS, FACTIONS and ENVEY; DRUNKENNESS, ORGIES, and the LIKE. I WARN YOU, AS I DID BEFORE, THAT THOSE WHO LIVE LIKE THIS WILL NOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD.

BUT THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT IS LOVE, JOY, PEACE, PATIENCE, KINDNESS, GOODNESS, FAITHFULNESS, GENTLENESS and INNER-SELFCONTROL. AGAINST SUCH THINGS THERE IS NO LAW. THOSE WHO BELONG TO CHRIST JESUS HAVE CRUCIFIED THE SINFUL NATURE WITH ITS PASSIONS and DESIRES. SINCE WE LIVE BY THE SPIRIT, LET US KEEP IN STEP WITH THE SPIRIT. LET US NOT BECOME CONCEITED, PROVOKING and ENVYING EACH OTHER.

THE MESSAGE:     I HAVE BEEN CALLED TO BE FREE OF MY SINFUL NATURE and TO LOVE MY NEIGHBORS AS MY SELF. TO BE FREE OF MY SINFUL NATURE I MUST LIVE BY THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT and I WILL NOT GRATIFY THE DESIRES OF THE SINFUL NATURE. FOR THE DESIRES OF THE SPIRIT ARE CONTRARY TO THE DESIRES OF SINFUL NATURE. THEY ARE IN CONFLICT WITH EACH OTHER SO THAT I DO NOT DO WHAT I WANT, I MUST BE LED BY THE SPIRIT. THE FIRST FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT IS LOVE. THIS IS HOW I LOVE MYSELF BY OBEYING THE SPIRIT, THAT I MAY SERVE MY NEIGHBORS IN THIS LOVE FROM THE SPIRIT. THIS IS HOW I STAY IN STEP WITH THE SPIRIT BY LIVING IN LOVE!  AMEN.

EPH. 1:17-19a

I KEEP ASKING THAT THE GOD OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, THE GLORIOUS FATHER, MAY GIVE YOU THE SPIRIT OF WISDOM and REVELATION, SO YOU MAY KNOW GOD BETTER. I PRAY ALSO THAT THE EYES OF YOUR HEART MAY BE ENLIGHTENED IN ORDER THAT YOU MAY KNOW THE HOPE TO WHICH GOD HAS CALLED YOU, THE RICHES OF GOD's GLORIOUS INHERTANCE IN THE SAINTS, and GOD'S INCOMPARABLY GREAT POWER FOR US WHO BELIEVE.

THE MESSAGE:      MY REQUEST TO GOD IS THAT GOD WILL GIVE ME THE SPIRIT OF WISDOM and REVELATION. CHRIST IS THE WIDSOM THAT THE HOLY SPIRIT REVEALS SO THAT I MAY KNOW GOD BETTER. THE EYES OF MY HEART- MY THOUGHTS, MY EMOTIONS, MY ATTITUDES, ARE ENLIGHTENED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT TO KNOW THE HOPE- JESUS CHRIST, TO WHICH GOD HAS CALLED ME. THE RICHES OF GOD'S GLORIOUS INHERTANCE IN THE SAINTS IS THE WORDS THE HOLY SPIRIT SPOKE THROUGH THEM. THESE WORDS ARE GOD'S INCOMPARABLY GREAT POWER FOR US WHO BELIEVE. I BELIEVE ALL GOD'S WORDS ARE TRUE!  AMEN

EPH. 4:1-6

AS A PRISONER FOR THE LORD, THEN, I URGE YOU TO LIVE  A LIFE WORTHY OF THE CALLING YOU HAVE RECEIVED. BE COMPLETELY HUMBLE and GENTLE; BE PATIENT, BEARING WITH ONE ANOTHER IN LOVE. MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO KEEP THE UNITY OF THE SPIRIT THROUGH THE BOND OF PEACE. THERE IS ONE BODY and ONE SPIRIT - JUST AS YOU WERE CALLED TO ONE HOPE WHEN YOU WERE CALLED - ONE LORD, ONE FAITH, ONE BAPTISM; ONE GOD and FATHER OF ALL, WHO IS OVER ALL and THROUGH ALL and IN ALL.

THE MESSAGE:    BECAUSE I HAVE SURRENDERD TO THE LORD, THEN, I MUST LIVE A LIFE WORTHY OF THE CALLING I HAVE RECEIVED. I MUST BE COMPLETELY HUMBLE and GENTLE; BE PATIENT, BEARING WITH ONE ANOTHER IN LOVE. I MUST MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO KEEP THE UNITY OF THE SPIRIT
 WITH ALL MY BROTHERS THROUGH THE BOND OF PEACE. THERE IS ONE BODY and ONE SPIRIT- JUST AS I WAS CALLED TO ONE HOPE WHEN I WAS CALLED,  JESUS CHRIST. ONE LORD, ONE FAITH, ONE BAPTISM; ONE GOD AND FATHER OF ALL, WHO IS OVER ALL and THROUGH ALL and IN ALL. AMEN!

2 TIM. 1:8-10

SO DO NOT BE ASHAMED TO TESTIFY ABOUT OUR LORD, OR ASHAMED OF ME CHRIST'S  PRISONER. BUT JOIN WITH ME IN SUFFERING FOR THE GOSPEL, BY THE POWER OF GOD, WHO HAS SAVED US AND CALLED US TO A HOLY LIFE - NOT BECAUSE OF ANYTHING WE HAVE DONE BUT BECAUSE OF GOD'S OWN PURPOSE AND GRACE. THIS GRACE WAS GIVEN US IN CHRIST JESUS BEFORE THE BEGINNING OF TIME, BUT IT HAS NOW BEEN REVEALED THROUGH THE APPEARING OF OUR SAVIOR, CHRIST JESUS, WHO HAS DESTROYED DEATH AND HAS BROUGHT LIFE AND IMMORTALITY TO LIGHT THROUGH THE GOSPEL.

THROUGH THESE GOD HAS GIVEN US GOD'S VERY GREAT AND PRECIOUS PROMISES, SO THAT THROUGH THEM YOU MAY PARTICIPATE IN THE DIVINE NATURE AND ESCAPE THE CORRUPTION IN THE WORLD CAUSED BY EVIL DESIRES.

FOR THIS VERY REASON, MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO ADD TO YOUR FAITH GOODNESS; AND TO GOODNESS, KNOWLEDGE; AND TO KNOWLEDGE, INNER- SELFCONTROL; AND TO INNER- SELFCONTROL, PERSEVERANCE; AND TO PERSEVERANCE, GODLINESS; AND TO GODLINESS, BROTHERLY KINDNESS; AND TO BROTHERLY KINDNESS, LOVE. FOR IF YOU POSSESS THESE QUALITIES IN INCREASING MEASURE, THEY WILL KEEP YOU FROM BEING INEFFECTIVE AND UNPRODUCTIVE IN YOUR KNOWLEDGE OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST. Biblical Definitions of Gods Words...

Goodness 
 in man is not a mere passive quality, but the deliberate preference of right to wrong, the firm and persistent resistance of all moral evil, and the choosing and following of all moral good.

Godliness
certainly includes Christian character, but it is more than that. There is another, even more fundamental aspect of godliness than godly character. It is the foundation, in fact, on which godly character is built.

Envy
Sin of jealousy over the blessings and achievements of others

Boast
 The object of boasting determines its nature. If it is God or the commendable qualities of others, then boasting can be described as proper; if it is wrongly applied to oneself, then it is improper.
 
Proud
Highminded sense, pride, arrogance. "To be highminded," "proud," "haughty" ( Romans 11:20 , "Be not highminded, but fear.

                           

Rude 
Not "impolite" in English Versions of the Bible (except perhaps 2 Macc 12:14), but "untrained," "ignorant".

Thoughts
is the process of using your mind to consider something. It can also be the product of that process: an idea or just the thing you're thinking about.

Emotions

an affective state of consciousness in which joy, sorrow, fear, hate, or the like, is experienced, as distinguished from cognitive and volitional states of consciousness.

Attitudes

the way you think and feel about someone or something. : a feeling or way of thinking that affects a person's behavior.

Logic

is the process of reasoning based on specific principles.  From the Greek logos meaning “word,” logic is study of the principles of reasoning, a set of premises that are examined and arranged so as to bring a conclusion.

Reason
is that part of the human mind where mental faculties are used to examine phenomena, think through them, and draw proper conclusions about them.

Salvation

is deliverance from danger or suffering. To save is to deliver or protect. The word carries the idea of victory, health, or preservation. Sometimes, the Bible uses the words saved or salvation to refer to temporal, physical deliverance. More often, the word “salvation” concerns an eternal, spiritual deliverance.

Gentleness

Sensitivity of disposition and kindness of behavior, founded on strength and prompted by love.

Admirable
To be admired; worthy of admiration; having qualities to excite wonder, with approbation, esteem or reverence; used of person or things; as, the admirable structure of the body, or of the universe.



Praiseworthy
Worthy of praise or applause; commendable; as, praiseworthy action; he was praiseworthy.

Excellent

the quality of being outstanding or extremely good.

Discernment

The spirit will help us to be discerning. He will help us use the right words at the right time and in the right manner, for the good of others and for His honor.
The ability to judge well.

Sound Judgement

a commandment or direction given as a rule of action or conduct.

Rage
Strong emotional reaction of displeasure, often leading to plans for revenge or punishment

Malice desire to inflict injury, harm, or suffering on another, either because of a hostile impulse or out of deep-seated meanness.
