We become Kingdom minded
when we study the bible, we are profiling Christian character through God’s
word. How the word processes to
God. God’s desire is to teach us faith
himself. Just as God taught Abraham
faith when God change his name, God wants to teach us faith too. When we speak the word of God to our inner
man we are developing our kingdom mind.
So we can operate with a kingdom mentality. There are kingdom elements required to
achieve this. They are faith, goodness,
knowledge, inner self control, perseverance, godliness, brotherly kindness and
love. For if you possess these qualities
in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and
unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. (2Pet.1:6-9) Jesus talked
about the church two times and the kingdom 119 times. Our focus is the kingdom. These elements will affect how you think, how
the process, how you expect, how you believe, how you look at things, your
perspective. There is some action
required on the part of the receiver or hearer of the word on what you do with,
or how you take in this information.
Take God off the pages of the Bible and put God on the tablet of your Heart,
focus on the promise. Let God take care
of the process of understanding the Kingdom, how to make the transition from
what we decided mentally to living the reality of Christ in our lives. Kingdom minded means, I Trust in the way the
Lord is doing things even when it flies in the face of conventional
wisdom. I don’t question, I just do what
God’s word says. I obey in every way
what the word says. Kingdom minded means
I need to fill my spirit with the word of God so that through this word God may
order my steps. When I am Kingdom
minded, I focus on the word and let God do the rest. When God asks about the plans for my life I
don’t want to give Kingdom excuses.
So I submit to my inner self, my spirit man. I submit my inner self; my spirit man to God,
that God may fill me with the mind of Christ through the word of Christ. With a mind of Christ and the word of Christ
I resist the Devil and the Devil must flee from me. With the mind of Christ and the word of
Christ I draw closer to God and God draws closer to me. God wash my hands of my sins and purify my
heart of my double mindedness. I humble
myself before the lord, and he will lift me up in due time. Now it is God who makes me stand firm in
Christ through the word of Christ. This
is how I worship God. Worship is important;
worship lubricates the heart to receive the word of God. Worship is when I give my spirit up to God. Worship is when I get to interact with God. God is moving on my behalf. Not everyone understands what God is doing
for me. Nor can every one receive what God
is doing in me. Nor can they comprehend the magnitude of what God is going to
do for me.
Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already
been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus
took hold of Me. Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of
it. But one thing I do: forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is
ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me
heavenward in Christ Jesus. I don’t let doubt, fear, or unbelief effect how I
respond to the word. I don’t hesitate to do what the word says. That I may be
effective as a Kingdom Changer. AMEN!
